COIMBATORE: Over 1 lakh children obtained jobs within the personal sector throughout 67 mega employment camps held in varied components of Tamil Nadu, Labour Welfare and Talent Growth Minister C V Ganesan stated on Saturday. The minister, who was within the metropolis to evaluate the scenario for a mega job camp to be held in Pollachi on November 27, advised reporters that almost 20,000 youth are anticipated to take part on this camp.
Up to now, 1.07 lakh individuals have secured employment throughout the state by way of these camps, the minister stated.
The camp held in Chengalpet within the presence of Chief Minister M Ok Stalin had witnessed 8,252 youth getting chosen out of 72,000 aspirants, Ganesan stated.
With efforts taken by the Chief Minister, international investments would come into Tamil Nadu and assist create 5 lakh jobs in 5 years, he stated.
