Three males have been arrested for allegedly robbing passengers in a shifting bus in east Delhi’s Kalyanpuri space, police stated on Saturday.
The accused have been recognized as Pradeep, 28, Sugam, 23, and Abhishek, 23, all residents of Kalyanpuri, they stated.
Police have been knowledgeable a couple of theft close to Chand cinema highway in an RTV bus on Friday round 7 pm.
They discovered the bus close to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, a senior police officer stated.
Deepak, 25, one of many passengers, stated that he had boarded the bus from Chand Cinema for Tremendous Shine Chowk together with different passengers.
Round 6.30 pm, when the bus reached close to 21 Block Kalyanpuri, three males armed with knives, boarded the bus and robbed a number of passengers of their cellphones, purse, luggage and many others, the officer stated.
After the theft, they de-boarded the bus and fled, police stated.
Police later arrested all three males on the premise of technical surveillance and data from their community.
Three knives, cellphones, money, purses and different robbed articles have been recovered from their possession, Deputy Commissioner of Police (east) Amrutha Guguloth stated.
Pradeep was discovered concerned in 16 instances of theft, snatching and Arms Act, Sugam in 4 case of theft, theft and Arms Act, and Abhishek was concerned in six instances of theft, snatching and theft, police stated.
