United pilots reject contract deal that ‘fell quick’

United Airlines pilots “overwhelmingly” rejected a tentative settlement that may have given pilots raises of practically 17%, their union mentioned, the most recent setback in rocky labor talks between unions and airways.

The tentative settlement “fell in need of the industry-leading contract United pilots have earned and deserve after main the airline by the pandemic and again to profitability,” the Air Line Pilots Affiliation mentioned.
